The dap is a gesture among African American men which expresses unity, strength, defiance or resistance. On the other hand the dap ist used as a complex language for communication. “The dap and the black power handshake, which evolved from the dap, were important symbols of black consciousness, identity, and cultural unity throughout black communities the world over!
The national spokesman of a key South African opposition party has said redistributing land from white farmers without compensation is justified because “it is not really their land”.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi told The Independent white farmers descended from Dutch and English colonial invaders had “have taken it [the land] through a violent crime against humanity”.

When – and why – did people first start using money?
Money soon became an instrument of political control. Taxes could be extracted to support the elite and armies could be raised. However, money could also act as a stabilizing force that fostered nonviolent exchanges of goods, information and services within and between groups.
